The mission, values, and achievements behind the movement.
Sexual and gender-based violence, and broader sexual and reproductive health and rights challenges, continue to affect communities across Kenya and the region. Young sex workers, queer individuals, and other marginalized communities often face the sharpest barriers to information, care, and safety.
Raise Your Voice was established to respond to that reality. We are a community-based organization advocating for SRHR justice, SGBV policy change, gender equity, and access to services, including safe abortion, for young people in all their diversity.
Through community-based programs, advocacy, awareness creation, and movement building, we create safer spaces for dialogue, connect young people to information and services, and work with partners to strengthen the systems around them.
