Survey on awareness of life skills or Comprehensive sexuality Education among young people in Kenya

Raise Your Voice aims to conduct a baseline survey to measure the levels of awareness about CSE among adolescents and young people. The baseline will measure the state-of-the-art perception of CSE in the Mathare, Kibra, Korogocho and seek to understand how adolescents navigate their context to access a form of CSE. The outcome of the baseline will help shape the approaches and pathways or engagements in the communities.

Key topics to be discussed

Key discussion areas to be addressed during the baseline will include:

1. General awareness of SRHR in Kenya.
2. Awareness of CSE and depth of understanding of the scope.
3. Efforts, initiatives, support mechanisms, and challenges of adolescents and young people navigating SRHR needs in the communities.
